Awesome kava and a great place to hangout and play pool! Staff is super friendly and personable. The free pool tournaments on Friday night (9-ball) and Sunday night (regular) are a huge blast!

West Palm Resident ! Going back home from Orlando and we decided to stop at this Island Root location for the first time .Place is very well detailed and clean, loved the large bar seating and the lighting so much detail went into this placeGood kava good prices good service

I’d heard of kava and kratom before but didn’t know much about it. The staff welcomed my husband and I as soon as we walked in the door and answered all our questions about their products. I thought the drinks would taste like dirt but they were surprisingly good. The apple cinnamon was my favorite. The sodas and pizza were tasty too. The vibe was relaxed and the other customers were very friendly. I loved this place!

The vibe in this place was awesome. Multiple selections and just overall better than most kava bars I’ve been too. Definitely recommend

Island Root is awesome!!!!! I love the botanical beer. The kava is great as well!!! Once you come you will be back. Parker, Ian, and the gang of customers all are pretty rad. Great place to chill for sure!! Go check it out you won’t be disappointed

Island Root Kava in Sebastian has to be my favorite place to hangout in town. Atmosphere is very relaxing and the people are really nice. Having a place to unwind after work that doesn’t involve alcohol has been a great experience. No hangovers. We enjoy the hot green teas and the rotating special kava flavors. Chocolate hazelnut so good.

My mom and I passed by Isand Root in Sebastian on National Beer Day after some breweries. We had a great time. They have a pool table and it’s a nice atmosphere. Paul our KavaTender was friendly and knowledgeable. It was my mom’s first time trying Kava and he answered all her questions with enthusiasm. Definitely recommend if you’re in the area!

EXCELLENT addition to the chillaxed Sebastian area. The establishment itself is calming and peaceful. Wrap around patio deck, beautiful view on the back deck with some foliage. Now let's go inside.. super clean (restrooms as well immaculate), organized and a great welcome from Johnny the bar tender.Want to change your traditional bar scene and avoid alcohol? This is your place. HUGE variety of beverages and light meals available to kick the hunger cravings. If you are in to the Sebastian area history, I'm not spilling the beans, you'll have to go yourself and see what Island Root has done with the lead of some historical items.Wonderful patrons as well just as welcoming as staff, up for no stress good vibe chats.Pool table, awesome tropical fish tank, I saw a stage so the must have some mic nights available.Plenty of seating options. Bar top seating 2 big tv's to wind your mind down, pub style table top seating and regular table top seating available. Guest wifi if you need a spot to get some work done.They have swag available to purchase... design styles are unique on the tops available and SOFT, well done!! Specials... they offer beverage specials, just ask.I did observe watching Johnny the bar tender greet many 1st timers during my visit and passionately explained the offerings of kava, kratom beverage, history behind both. As well as many other beverages and food/snack options available. 1st timers all appreciated the education and all said they'd be back after hanging for a bit.It's just beautiful to see employees loving what they do and caring about their customers. With that said, the business obviously is good to their employees. That makes the customer experience even better.Thank you Johnny for your dedication, services and keeping the chill vibe in line with your products offerings! Ties together with what Island Root is about. I left feeling in my peace tranquility zone.Highly recommend if you need to relax and get out for a change up! Multiple locations in Brevard County as well.Thank you Island Root, for expanding bringing in an awesome over due change to Sebastian for the community. Good vibes and continued success coming to your establishments.

Great place to relax, owner is really nice and loves to get to know the people who come through the doors at all of his locations, and the staff is great as well. Johnny, the manager makes understanding kava easy to people who are new to it and helps create a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere to everyone.
