I recently visited a kava bar and from the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the friendly staff. The ambiance was laid-back and chill, withmusic playing in the background and colorful lights.I ordered a traditional kava drink and let me tell you, it was unlike anything I've ever tasted before. It had a unique earthy flavor that was surprisingly refreshing and calming. As I sipped on my kava, I could feel my stress melting away and a sense of relaxation washing over me.The best part of the experience was meeting all the other kava enthusiasts at the bar. We shared stories, laughed, and bonded over our love for this magical drink. Before I knew it, I had made a whole bunch of new friends and felt like I was part of a kava-loving community.Overall, my visit to the kava bar was a blast! I highly recommend checking it out if you're looking for a fun and unique way to unwind and connect with others. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!

We love going to island root when Lilly and Glen are working. Lilly greets you with a smile. She is both attentive and always makes sure everyone is taking care of. A favorite place of ours!

Island Root is a great place great people food is good great bartenders. Joe is a KavaTender he is always helping everyone and making sure everyone is having a great time and has drinks, he is a great down to earth person he is very welcoming.

impeccable vibes, nice people, good atmosphere, always clean, also Mackenzie is the best, and always makes for a fun conversation! they also have a pool table and many other games!

Joe and the manager were awesome, and the kava was strong! Sadly, no cocktails (unless you count cold brew and kava), and the flavored teas were expensive (11 bucks for 12oz). They don't offer almond milk with kava shells (they only mix almond milk with shots...), but they can give creamer. An odd system.Music was loud and not upbeat, so it had a bit of a seedy bar feel... Not a healing, positive hangout spot like many other kava spots. But everyone was nice. Would give it another try sometime.3.5 / 5
