I stopped by the kava bar today and Robbie took great care of me. The vibe was super chill, the drinks were smooth, and the whole place just felt welcoming. Robbie really knows his stuff and made some great recommendations. If you’re looking for a relaxed spot to unwind, this is definitely the place. I’ll be coming back for sure.

Very cool atmosphere. They have a pool table (free to play), aquarium, and there was a live band playing on a Friday night.

I’ve been going here for months now and I can confidently say this is my new favorite spot. EVERY kavatender is great but Johnny, Glen & Bobby get a special shoutout.

I was introduced to Kava this past week while escaping the brutal northeast winter with a visit to the space coast. What a treat! Tony, Johnny, Christian, and several regulars made me feel immediately at home and provided the necessary education on Kava/Kratom 101. What a tremendous alternative to the traditional alcohol-fueled bar experience. I found the drinks to be soothing, relaxing, soul-affirming, and energizing. I'm grateful for the experience ... and my new friends at Island Root!

One of the crown jewels of the Island Root empire. It is an almost ideal setup. Large bar, pool, table seating, outside seating and a stage for music. It sports the standard menu with solid kava and teas. And most important, it is placed in a strip mall with awesome food and snack options. This makes this location an ideal stop for a lunch or dinner visit. Grab some good food nearby and chill with it at the bar. The staff is solid and the crowd is robust. A little further from my home than I like to drive for a quick visit but it is definitely moving up in the rotation. Their stage, not a little after thought like in some other bars, is also frequented by musical acts which try to make me drive the extra distance. The performances always attract a large vibrant crowd. And when it does get crowded, the covered area out front is sizable and handles the overflow well.

My husband and I absolutely love this place the atmosphere the workers are such hard kind professionals there amazing to be around I want to pull names but afraid to forget someone Johnny,Christian ,Bobby ,Glenn,Jessie Paul,Sammy ,Kenzie ,Lauren ,Robby Brenton Reece ,Justin Makayla hope you guys get recognized for your hard work everyday and it’s noticed I appreciate you guys so much .The people that come here are positive people love them .The amazing music is absolutely amazing (Chase )the live shows .I am truly blessed to have found this place it’s like family .

Fun experience! Glad we gave it a try. Other than a few minutes of mouth numbness after a stronger drink, the only effect is we’re all super relaxed! For full effects we each had 2-3 drinks.
