I am fortunate that Sean is working many times I visit Island Root in St.Lucie West. He is always friendly and genuinely happy to greet and ask about my day. He is a significant asset to the establishment in many ways, whether just friendly conversation or just making sure my visit is an enjoyable experience. Island Root is fortunate to have such a dedicated and caring employee.

Island Root is my go-to spot whether I need to get some work done or just unwind in a great environment. The people here are genuinely nice and always make you feel welcome the moment you walk in. Shout out to Shawn — our bartender is always on point and makes the experience even better. The atmosphere is super chill, the drinks are great, and it's the perfect place to post up with your laptop and be productive or just hang out and relax. If you're looking for a laid-back spot in Port St. Lucie West with great vibes and even better people, this is it. Highly recommend!

Love this place! The kava is smooth, the vibe is chill, and Carrisa always brings great energy. She takes the time to explain drinks and makes every visit enjoyable. One of my favorite spots in St. Lucie.

I'd heard a lot about this place, so I decided to check it out.
The vibe is really unique, part spiritual, part relaxed, and the kava was definitely an experience. It's not quite my personal favorite, but I can see why people enjoy it. The staff were friendly, and I think it would be even more fun with friends.

I’m visiting from out of town and decided to stop by Island Root Kava Bar — what an amazing experience! The place is spotless, cozy, and has such a friendly, relaxing vibe. Shawn was working during my visit, and I can’t recommend him enough! He was incredibly knowledgeable about all the different teas and took the time to explain everything in such a welcoming way. You can tell he truly cares about the customers’ experience. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in town. Big shoutout to Shawn and the whole Island Root team for creating such a wonderful atmosphere!

Island Root has quickly become one of my favorite spots in the area. The vibe here is relaxed and welcoming, and the crowd is a mix of people from all walks of life. It’s rare to find a place where everyone can just be themselves without judgment, but this place nails it.

A big shoutout to Shawn, one of the bartenders here. He’s genuinely one of the friendliest, most positive people I’ve met. He's always greeting everyone with a high five or a smile and asking how people are doing. He really makes everyone feel seen, and you can tell he puts a lot of heart into what he does, which helps set the tone for the place.

Whether you’re coming to relax after work, play some pool, catch the open mic, or just have good conversations with good people, this is the spot. I highly recommend checking it out!

I’ve been to many of Island Roots locations over the last 18-24 months. What I saw today blew me away. Lindsey (Kava Tender) took time to walk a customer to their car while there was heavy rain using her own umbrella and had a smile on her face while doing it. I’ve never seen that from any other employee. It shows me she genuinely cares about her customers. The world could use more kindness like this in it. Lindsey keep doing things like that.

Heard a lot about this place so I gave it a try. The vibe is definitely unique.kind of spiritual, kind of relaxed. Kava was… interesting. Not really my thing, but I can see the appeal. The staff were cool but seemed a bit distracted. Probably more enjoyable if you go with friends.
